About Us
  •

Our story began when David Tennant Sr., Founder of CEDASS, started working in Southern Sudan in 2006 after the Sudanese Comprehensive Peace Agreement was signed.

Our small and growing group of business leaders and volunteers from London, ON, exists solely to help the people of Southern Sudan create their own sustainable economy through agricultural and economic training for the local people.

Our mission is to help the people of Southern Sudan create a thriving, self-sufficient economy for the local communities and tribes in the region.

Our vision is to become a catalyst for change in Southern Sudan by creating sustainable projects and applying knowledge from our past works to create new initiatives that will enhance the local infrastructure and economy.

While we can't change the world, we can make life just a little bit easier for a small group of women and children living along the White Nile.

We've met teenage girls who work long hours grinding grain, wishing to go to school. And we've watched young children playing with rocks and sticks, unaware that toys even exist. For these young people, we are looking for:

    Hand grinder to mill grain
    Blankets
    Mosquito nets
    Soccer & Volleyballs
    Skipping ropes
    Rattles
    Pencils
    Notebooks
    Toys (not battery operated)
